my kind of room

This is a little something that i came up with a couple of days ago. I was sitting in front of the computer. Sipping a cup of hot coffee ( which was awesome as always, i happened to be a great coffee maker ), listening to amy winehouse on my itunes, and have no idea what to do. My friendster account have no recent updates…i got bored chatting with some random strangers…so i opened my sketchup application and started doing something that eventually ended up being a design idea for a room.

It came out of nowhere…beside the fact that i don’t really have a room of my own…i’ve always wanted to have a room for a long time. See, the place i sleep in, isn’t necessarily a room. It’s an open space with only wood railings surrounding it. The idea was to have a room that similar to a tatami room or a gazebo. It was a great idea actually…and remains the same ever since.

The ironic thing is, i’m a big fan or interior designing, and yet i have no desire whatsoever to do anything with my room…err space.

So that day i designed a room that was up to my liking.

This is the whole view of the room. The cabinet in front of the bed is for my stuffs such as magazines, cds, etc.

 

I’m a sucker for colors so i had to have a green couch…just to make the point that i’m an envious person .

I have a thing for artworks, and i’ve been doing artworks like these in every single one of my designs. I think i’m building up a signature style

here’s a look at the study desk. Still i put a big abstract artwork on the wall besides the desk. The cabinets can be used to stock books, magazines, etc.
