For those of you who are wondering whether this blog has any similarities with the one in Indonesian, well…yeah, only this one’s in English…My dad run the indo version, and i run this one.

We accidentaly got these flooring materials. The house owner told me to go to Klender. They said they have lots of local and imported woods here.

Small oasis in the living room

Remember when u walked in a japanese restaurant and having that zen feeling? Well u might get that from the calm and relaxing ambience of the minimalist and earthy surrounding of the restaurant. Or probably u just have too many sakes and feeling a little bit tipsy there, lol. But seriousy though, u can get that exact feeling in your own house, well…not exactly, but close enough.

For those of you who are not materially challenged (is that even a word??) building a house may not be a problem. But unfortunatelly, it is for some of us who are less priviliged , materially that is. Most of the time we have to come up with ideas to overcome those obstacles, such as, limited land size and of course, budget. Those are, let’s face it, not a very easy thing to do.

As i said before in earlier post,a house made out of used wood could easily be an alternative for those of us who are looking for a more simple way of living.

A house, out of used wood?? u’d probably thinking..hell no!!…but i mean , why not right? It could be the answer to that longing question of ours for the homy, eco friendly, and of course affordable living space we’ve always wanted. Of course affordable here doesn’t necessarily mean look cheap, it can still be chic and design friendly, so…stay tune for more!
